Eligibility :-
Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
Experience – Minimum 8 – 10 years
We are looking for a hands-on IT leader on site that in cooperation with the Group IT team will have the following responsibilities:
* Hardware Procurement, AMCs and renewals of all hardware and software e.g. PC’s, laptops, servers, Office 365 and all related activity to support the Local IT systems to a high level of user service and satisfaction.
* Look at improvements for IT systems and processes to improve the service to the sites and to save cost by implementing innovative technology and smarter ways of working.
* Work on projects which could vary from local infrastructure or system upgrades to Group IT driven changes to core services.
* High-level problem-solving skills are needed on a regular basis during such implementations which involves IT hardware and software set up and operation.
* Expected to work closely with the central IT team to develop and implement processes and procedures which are then rolled out and followed within Tenova India.. To influence site management teams to ensure IT policies are supported and followed upon. To work with local service providers and IT suppliers to ensure best possible service. Expected to provide annual IT budget and to create capex’s for IT refresh and local projects to support business functions.

Main tasks
* Providing technical support and training to end-users
* Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
* Installing, configuring and maintaining workstations, printers, scanners, phones and other devices
* Managing inventory of IT equipment and supplies
* Coordinating with vendors and service providers for IT-related purchases and contracts
* Ensuring security of data, network access and backup systems
* Developing and implementing IT policies and best practices
* Aligning IT objectives and programs to the organization’s objectives and strategies
* Being responsible of IT budget

* Network skills: IT managers need to know how to design, implement, monitor and optimize the network infrastructure of an organization, such as LANs, WANs, VPNs and wireless networks .
* Security skills: IT managers need to know how to protect the organization’s data and systems from unauthorized access, cyberattacks and natural disasters, by using encryption, firewalls, backups and disaster recovery plans.
