Description
Provides technical support on health, safety and environmental to production and site personnel under the guidance of the site HSE leader. Assists in the review and sustainability of Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE)
Plan
Maintains skills and knowledge required to perform job duties.
Builds an understanding of corporate driven HSE initiatives, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Build an understanding of and applies HSE culture ensuring it is integral to processes.
Maintain confidentiality and appropriate recordkeeping standards in line with corporate data protection and retention requirements.
Do
Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
Assists in reporting any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard through internal reporting processes.
Assists in closure of corrective and preventive actions.
Support the implementation and maintenance of hazard identification, incident investigation and risk assessment processes.
Communicate effectively to create HSE awareness.
Participates in environmental management activities.
Perform basic administrative tasks as required.
Check
Participate in HSE inspection and audit programs.
Gathers data for the analysis of HSE related trends.
Act
Deliver on objectives and targets.
Assists in maintenance of local HSE policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Support health, safety, environmental and wellness initiatives.
Participate in local employee engagement initiatives to drive an interdependent culture.

Health, Safety and Environment Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis – Examines HSE incidents by completing quality, evidence based investigations with accurate root cause analysis, resulting in effective corrective actions, accurate reporting and avoiding repeated incidents.
Health and Safety Fundamentals – Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
Health,
Safety and Environment Management Systems – Interprets and applies international standards through practical application within the operating environment to achieve and maintain an effective management system and external certification.
Risk Assessment – Evaluates hazards within the work environment by applying hazard identification and risk assessment techniques to analyze and prioritize risk, enabling a selection of control measures that reduce risk as low as reasonably practicable.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
College, University or equivalent degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management,
or Sustainability preferred.
Experience
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
3-5years of hands on experience in managing HSE in manufacturing plant operation.
B.Sc./ Diploma ADIS from recognized institute
Experiencein managing HSE regulatory compliance with internal & external stakeholders/ interested parties / regulatory bodies
Effective HSE training management skills including Identification of training need,Schedule & Planning, Training Records & Effectiveness check, etc.
