Work term temporary, approximately june 1, 2022 – july 31, 2022
Duties & responsibilities
The research assistant will assist with the following duties, but duties are not limited to the following:
Recruit, screen for eligibility, and consent participants
Assist participants with self-paced computerized survey
Provide instructions for urine collection
Coordinate pick up/drop off of urine samples
Required competencies
Ability to work independently and with guidance from faculty at sitting bull college and university of north dakota
Ability to work with a team
Strong organizational skills
Interest in working on research or strong desire to gain experience
Minimum requirements
Currently enrollment in a ba degree program at sitting bull college
The research assistant should reside on standing rock reservation or live in very close proximity which is where the study occurs
Experience with microsoft office
Experience working with people on an individual basis
Cover letter & resume describing experience must be included.
Successful completion of criminal history records check.

Schedule & compensation
$15.00 – $22.00/hour dependent upon experience and education.
The position will work a minimum of 15 hours per week, but hours may vary depending upon the project needsThe hours may fluctuate and are flexible.
Work location
Remote, must live on or near standing rock reservation
