Job Description:
Position Overview:
As an L1 Support Engineer at THE NXTSERV, you will be the first point of contact for our clients’ technical issues and inquiries. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer support, resolving basic technical problems, and escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the initial point of contact for clients seeking technical assistance.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues, such as software and hardware problems.
• Document client interactions and issue details accurately in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to L2 and L3 support engineers for further investigation and resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Follow established processes and procedures for issue escalation and resolution.
• Assist in creating and maintaining support documentation and knowledge base articles.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
• A+ certification or other relevant certifications (preferred).
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
