About the role
We have a contingent opening for a software developer to join an upcoming contract award for our cloud modernization and migration team to support our clients’ cloud requirements, cloud migration and deployment of new requirements to an agile devsecops environment for our customerWe seek a candidate with knowledge of all aspects of software development lifecycleThe candidate will provide knowledge of implementing integration solutions using restful web services and web apisProvides programming knowledge with at least one language such as java, python, or c++, including object-oriented design, development, and relational databases such as oracle or sql serverHas aws or azure cloud technology experienceHas problem-solving skills in troubleshooting issues and maintenance of operational support servicesPossesses knowledge and experience in agile devsecops and itilHas excellent communication, analytic, and customer service skillsPerforms 508 compliance and performance testing as needed or directedThe candidate will work on a multi-faceted, fast-paced, high-priority project, requiring hard and soft skills and focused dedication.
Responsibilities

Responsible for full-stack development with experience in distributed (multi-tiered) systems and relational databases
Develop and maintain all technical design documentation, as needed, and document all changes that occur through change requests
Support software testing activities (ci/cd) to include data setup, defect troubleshooting, and resolution
Rearchitect and refactor applications to deploy or build natively in the cloud
Drive improvements, support operations, and maintenance releases to ensure continued compliance with technology and security

Requirements: required experience and skills

Knowledge of implementing integration solutions using restful web services and web apis
Programming knowledge with at least one language such as java, python, or c++, including object-oriented design, development, and relational databases such as oracle or sql server
Aws or azure cloud technology experience
Problem-solving skills in troubleshooting issues and maintenance of operational support services
Possesses knowledge and experience in agile devsecops, itil
Must have excellent communication, analytic, and customer service skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a naci public trust clearance

Preferred qualifications

Strong customer relationship capabilities
Experience working in a federal government environment
Ability to communicate clearly with all levels in an organization.

Education and training

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
