Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team, in the DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) domain. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in a wide range of technical skills including Windows systems, firewall management, SQL databases, antivirus software, networking, port configuration, and network configuration. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers, resolving issues related to DICOM applications, Network related issue and ensuring the smooth operation of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote assistance channels.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to DICOM applications, PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), and medical imaging devices.
3. Perform software installations, configurations, and upgrades for DICOM solutions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
5. Document and track customer reported issues using ticketing systems and follow up until resolution.
6. Conduct product training sessions for customers and internal teams as needed.
7. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in DICOM standards, networking protocols, and security best practices.
8. Configure and maintain Windows-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
9. Manage firewall rules and configurations to ensure secure network communication for DICOM applications.
10. Monitor and troubleshoot SQL databases, performing backups, optimizations, and data integrity checks.
11. Configure and troubleshoot antivirus software to protect DICOM systems from malware and security threats.
12. Perform network configuration tasks including IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN setup, and routing protocols.
14. Configure and troubleshoot port settings to ensure proper communication between DICOM devices and systems.
15. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs) in all interactions with customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience 2-3 years as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role in the healthcare industry, preferably in DICOM domain.
3. Strong understanding of DICOM standards and protocols.
4. Proficiency in Windows operating systems and server environments.
5. Experience with firewall configurations and network security principles.
6. Knowledge of SQL databases and query languages (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
7. Familiarity with antivirus software and malware protection techniques.
8. Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSI model.
9. Experience with port configuration, network segmentation, and VLAN setup.
10. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
13. Certifications such as DICOM, CompTIA Network+, MCSA: Windows Server, or CCNA are a plus.
