What are we looking for?

We are hiring for an assistant level role in our accounts departmentThe person hired at this level will work with us as an assistant accountantThis role requires you to take care of accounting of routine transactions and compile financial reports and statements in compliance with government regulations and requirementsThe candidate will manage general ledger accounts, maintain accounts payable, prepare payouts requests and prepare financial reportsThe ideal candidate will hold hands-on experience in using tools like quickbooks and ms- excel.

Responsibilities:

Routine accounting of expenses, bank payments and journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Keeping track of all the approvals and documents to ensure only approved transactions with required supporting documents are processed
Sound knowledge of legal provisions of income tax and gst law
Run gst reconciliation and tds reconciliation reports
Run monthly variance analysis of expenses
Performing regular bank reconciliation, regular funds position reporting
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports for review
Assist senior team members in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

Requirements:

3+ years of accounting experiencePreferable experience on quickbooks.
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Mandatory: hands on experience with microsoft excel and other ms office tools
Should be able to work independently without supervision
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive cross functional discussions independently
Good organization and analytical skills
B.comOr graduation in the relevant domain
