Position:
As a cardiology remote systems administrator, you will be supporting cardiology medical imaging software that is installed across north americaThis support will be remote and face-to-face as each task is completed.
Core responsibilities:
Answering support calls and working with fellow support team members and internal software development groups to identify and resolve problems
Diagnosing software and hardware malfunctions as well as troubleshooting network problems relating to the system
Providing remote systems administration to customer sites
Providing remote software support and analysis to customers
Performing proactive system maintenance check to ensure proper system functionality
Following up on support issues proactively to provide timely updates and resolutions to customers
Maintaining a highly professional and customer centric focus
Requirements:
Bachelor of computer science, engineering or computer technology background
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical support environment
Experience administering windows operating systems
Knowledge of tcp/ip networking and routing
Strong understanding of enterprise system administration.
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
Self starter and team player with exceptional commitment to providing superior proactive customer service
Ability to learn quickly in a high pace, challenging environment
Highly developed organizational skills and time management ability
Thrive in working in a fast paced environment, multi-task and demonstrate flexibility
Knowledge of clinical workflow
Experience supporting systems in a clinical environment using dicom and hl7
Working conditions/physical requirements:
Shift work requiredThe support group is open from 7am to 9pm etThe start times vary on a weekly basis and are rotated within the assigned team
On-call duty requiredIt is one week in duration and is on a rotational basisCompensation will be provided for the additional work
Travel:
Less than 10% travel
