About (Information Technology): The Information and Technology Team is committed to managing and enhancing the institution’s technological infrastructure and capabilities. Our focus is on providing seamless digital experiences for users, optimizing administrative processes, and fostering innovative learning environments. By leveraging advanced technologies, we ensure that our users have access to resources, can collaborate efficiently, and engage in remote learning when necessary. This streamlines academic operations and empowers our users (faculty/student/staff to navigate their educational journeys with greater flexibility and convenience. Role and Responsibilities: • Technical Support: Provide end-user technical support by diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, both in-person and remotely. Ensure timely resolution of technical problems to minimize downtime and disruptions. • Assets Management: Monitor and maintain the records of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including all IT assets. Experience in any asset management tool/application would be preferred. • Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on computer hardware, peripherals, and other IT equipment. Coordinate hardware upgrades and replacements as required. • Laptop/Desktop Preparation: Installation and configuration of the laptop/desktop. • Software Management: Install, update, and maintain software applications across the organization. Ensure proper licensing and compliance with software usage policies. • IT Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, Daily, Monthly, and yearly Reports, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Create user guides and manuals for software and hardware usage. • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers for procurement, support, and maintenance of IT equipment and services. • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions. • IT Projects: Participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. • EPBAX: Maintain and manage EPBAX environment throughout the campus.
Qualifications and Skills Required: • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, CS, or a related field’s relevant certifications are a plus. • Proven experience in providing IT support and managing IT infrastructure. • Strong knowledge of hardware & software • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, office applications, and IT management tools. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality. • Strong interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented mindset. •Laptop/Desktop Support, EPBAX support, Assets Management
