A Modern Trade Representative specializing in handling fresh counter products typically plays a crucial role in the retail industry, ensuring that fresh produce and perishable goods are effectively managed, displayed, and sold within modern trade outlets such as supermarkets, hypermarkets, or large retail chains.

– Ensure that the fresh counter is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing
– Create attractive displays to highlight the freshness and quality of the products
– Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed to prevent shortages or wastage
– Inspect and maintain the quality of fresh products to ensure they meet safety and hygiene standards

– Implement proper handling and storage procedures to minimize product spoilage
– Manage expiration dates and ensure products are rotated to minimize waste
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases
– Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
– Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional events or campaigns for fresh products
– Monitor sales trends and suggest strategies to increase sales and profitability
– Conduct product demonstrations or tastings to engage and educate customers
– Coordinate with team to ensure timely deliveries of fresh products
– Track inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies
– Monitor and control shrinkage or loss due to spoilage

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in any field
– Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the fresh food or retail industry
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
– Sales and customer service-oriented

– Proficiency in using computer software systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 – ₹22,000.00 per month
