Qualification & Experience:
Overall experience is 8 to 12 years
– Minimum 6 years of relevant experience as a Software Quality Assurance / Process consultant and roles in SEPG
– Experience in complete application Delivery lifecycle.
– Experience in digital transformation and preferably certifications Sofware Quality Assurance and Agile methodology / Frameworks
Knowledge of other software development, QMS, testing and release mgmt (e.g. Audits, QA signoffs, Feature and Test-Driven Development, Continuous Release/Continuous Deployment)
Job Responsibilities:
– Provide leadership on QA & Agile practices for the project and track the quality against schedule of activities & deliverables
– Should lead process modelling and definitions for supporting initiatives or continuous improvement in ways of working.
– Help institutionalize a disciplined, rigorous development, problem solving, RCA and QA processes in line with the SAFe framework
– Should have knowledge and experience in metrics system across various tenets of Teams, Programs, Quality and Releases.
– Help prepare status reports, metrics to measure the quality of the project deliverables
– Should have skills and experience in facilitating Agile/Projects teams across various ceremonies, cadence and milestones.
– Report defects in a timely fashion and work to manage defects until issues are resolved.
Work with development team get fixes are prioritized.
– Knowledge of principles, processes, phases and roles of application development & QA methodologies/Frameworks
– Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills working with technical and non-technical individuals
– Develop a roadmap for building needed QA expertise. Establish and evolve formal QA processes across the teams/units.
– Identification and evaluation of processes along with Setting up the priorities of process improvement in projects
– Coach and consult with other teams on realizing the QA practices and development methodologies (SAFe, Scrum) within their teams
– Ensure structured feedback is provided to the development teams and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the agreed project schedule and quality requirements;
– Implementation of strategy for software engineering processes, practices ensuring stakeholders, onsite coordinators are on board and measuring progress through KPIs.
– Drives process improvement objectives, specific goals, measures, and metrics and ensure they are established. Ensure that an adequate plan is developed and executed
– Spend time with the team / team leadership to understand their needs, problems, and wants
– Help start up a successful Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program
– Help the team set up tooling to track their work, Train the team on Agile & QA essential concepts
– Facilitate knowledge sharing between teams and develop relevant training programs.
– Should have skills and experience in design, development, and maintenance of Quality Management system,
catering to various quality standards and frameworks – like ISO 9001, CMMI, ISO 27001, Scrum & SAFe
– Should have knowledge and experience in planning, scheduling and conducting Internal Quality Audits.
– Knowledge and experience in Quality practices and Agile Frameworks (SAFe, Scrum)
