Nuance Looking for Principal Business Intelligence Developer at Maharashtra Full Time

We are looking for a bi data developer to join an international team as we move our focus to microsoft azure – you will have the opportunity to conduct development on the latest bi software to support our customer reporting and analytical needsYou’ll work as part of the nuance bi and analytics team developing bi reporting, building data models and tools, and ensuring continuous access to recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards to provide critical insights that can be used to make sound business decisionsIn addition to this you will engage with data users to define the data and reporting requirements.

You will be: –

Working in our business intelligence team you’ll provide analytical and development support to a wide range of business teams
Ensure the successful timely completion of assigned bi project deliverables.
Defining, developing, and maintaining etl processes and solutions on the microsoft azure bi stack.
Develop bi pipeline code using t-sql and dax.
Contributing to the building and maintenance of high quality documentation of data elements for required reporting.
Proactive in your approach in agile software development life cycle.
Identifying new opportunities to improve the overall nuance bi solution
Promoting best practices / processes across the business unit
Working closely with nuance engineering, operations and customer success management teams to deliver the agreed bi solution on time.

Required qualifications

5+ years design & implementation microsoft business intelligence solutions
3+ years of experience working with microsoft azure
Experience with all aspects of data systems (both big data and traditional) including database design, etl/elt, aggregation strategy, performance optimization, sql – hands-on experience of cloud based bi technologies such as azure data lake, azure data factory v1/v2, azure sql and azure analysis services.
Experience in scripting languages such as bash, powershell, python – experience of sql with complex sql queries and stored procedures, source code control tools such as vsts, github and azure devops – excellent knowledge of data warehouse design concepts and practices – have worked in agile development environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and follow through to completion with minimal supervision – larger projects, change requests, task commitments, self-starter, take initiative and innovative

Preferred:

Experience with visualization toolsE.gPowerbi – experience in data transfer applications (example: az copy, sftp)
Experience in scripting languages such as dax, kql, scala and spark
Experience of using microsoft azure services such as databricks, logic apps and power automate

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
