Job summary
As a senior financial analyst you play a key role in the hybrid cloud business unit finance team, supporting, ontap flash and hybrid businessThis individual is responsible for supporting vp’s, directors and managers in the organization as well as their operational staffIt includes performing research and financial modeling to help with decision-making process along with assisting requests from corporate finance or other stakeholders.
Essential functions:
This role has responsibility for a wide range of financial support and analysis tasksIt includes but is not limited to:
Partner with product management, pricing, procurement, program management on new product introductions (npi)
Work closely with pricing team to provide relevant and detailed analysis to support pricing decisions and provide finance recommendations during pricing reviews
Provide in-depth return on investment (roi) analysis to support npi & represent finance in product launch phase reviews
Other ad-hoc projects or activities to provide fp&a support
Job requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills as needed to work successfully with staff and managers within and outside of function.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote business partners.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.
Strong microsoft office skills including excel, word, outlook and powerpoint.
Hyperion skills a plus.

Education
8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (fp&a), business finance or equivalent rolesprior experience supporting npi or pricing analysis preferred
Experience supporting operational and business staff members required
Solid understanding of accounting principles required.
Ba or bs in business, finance or accounting or equivalent degree required.
Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical tasks.
