As a data analyst you will:

Work with various enterprise-wide teams to support the integration, validation, ingestion, and organization of client data sources with a focus on reliability, repeatability, and efficiency
Coordinate and track client data integrations, modifications, change requests, formats, cadence, and all other client related data file information across all technology platforms
Ensure data requests are formally captured via standard data intake processes (source-to-target, control files, validation models)
Work with the technical account managers to acquire data from client/vendor data sources
Ensure source control files are successfully integrated into the navvis platform, and can support and monitor integrated data feeds
Interpret data, analyze results of data mapping using best practice techniques, data validation reports, and tests of variance
Maintain subject matter expertise related to all data file interface specification
Ability to manipulate string values in text files or database objects
Ability to automate workflows around file audits and file validations
Understanding of change data capture concepts

A day in the life:

Monitor and escalate related issues to data mapping, validation, and end results of aggregated data within various data models and environments
Facilitate proactive and timely communication between internal and external stakeholders
Perform end-to-end troubleshooting and validation as needed in coordination with the data ops, quality assurance, and analytics team
Provide data quality validation on eligibility, claims, emr, provider, pharmacy, adt, and other file types
Ensure data inputs continue to update at designated times/cadence, and when there is a failure to load that data, it is promptly escalated
Other duties as needed

What success looks like in this role:

Ability to monitor and report on the data file inputs for timeliness and completeness
Continuously monitor performance of file transfers and identify gaps or challenges
Leverage and enhance data quality control plans
Strong experience and working knowledge of healthcare data (ehr, claims, etc.)
Understanding of data mapping and common interfaces used in etl/elt procedures
Knowledge of population health
Ability to embrace change and company growth
Strong analytical skills

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years proven working experience as a data analyst in a health care setting
Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations
Methodical and thorough approach to problem troubleshooting and solving
Ability to organize, coordinate, and prioritize day-to-day workload
Detail oriented, strong analytical mind set
Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment
Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (business objects etc), databases (sql etc) and/or secure file transfers.
Experience analyzing large datasets with excel, access, sql, etc).
Expert skills in sql and/or python or some other database management tool
