Director – social listening
Overview of job
Mindshare is looking for “director – social listening” with minimum 6-8 years of work experienceIn this role you will be decoding a vast universe of data, marrying various data sources (online/offline) and have a comprehensive understanding of social/digital platforms and their data eco-system to arrive at actionable consumer insights
.

In three months:
Work as part of a team to contribute to the product & strategy function and streamline operations/ reporting with minimal supervision
Be the qualitative storyteller from the analysis and design analysis in tune with the client’s requirements
Integrate and learn the different streams of work/processes in data and digital
In six months:
You would have taken complete control of the process, deliverables, and client relationship
Assisted business teams on pitches for new business
Drive meetings and present analysis to the team and clients
In 12 months:
Emerged as the go-to person both internally and amongst clients for all measurement requirement
Independently work on client requirements from scratch – from decoding the brief, setting up a structure, analysing and sharing recommendations basis the analysis that matches the clients’ expectations
Be equipped enough to independently explore and evaluate the best tools and technology in the market for mindshare

Identify content opportunities for the brands by tracking brand conversations to identify alerts or opportunities for the clients
Interactions with the clients on a regular basis to build trust
Ability to work on stringent deadlines.
Participating in projects beyond retainer accounts to gain exposure and learning
What you will need:
Possess organizational skills in the form of written and oral communication, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem analysis.
High proficiency on social listening and monitoring tools, well versed with social media benchmarking tools, broad knowledge of microsoft office (powerpoint, word and excel) and good presentation skills
Analytical and problem-solving approach is a must
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
Understanding of general business, digital and social media platforms and technology in general.
Innovate on process – automated and manual to achieve operational efficiency and better quality of insights and reports
Ability to work in cross-functional teams across different expertise and collaborate with internal and external teams
Must be flexible with time and be able to work in a shift system including public holidays and weekends if the need arises
Demonstrate a combination of highly quantitative analytical skills, strategic judgment, and creativity.
Tracking time-resource engagement for all projects to ensure timely deliveries
Someone who is proactive, takes initiative, and demonstrates the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high pressure, and highly competitive environment.
Very quick learner, resourceful, with smart problem-solving skills.
