Job description:
This position assists with the preparation of accurate and timely tax filings (i.e., federal, state, international, others), substantiates the filings through complete and organized supporting work paper documentation, and supports all intermountain healthcare tax functions and activities.
Job essentials
Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely tax filings for intermountain healthcare and affiliated entities
Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly sales tax returns
Prepare and maintain complete and accurate work papers
Support tax functions and activities
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the corporate tax director and/or corporate tax manager
Participate in a variety of projects that support the needs of the tax and accounting functions.
Work with the members of the team to identify solutions and perform tasks that accomplish individual and team goals.
Attend team / department meetings and actively participate / take on opportunities to share knowledge and skills that are pertinent to the meeting.
Work with other members of other departments / facilities to accomplish assigned tasks.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor`s degree in accounting, finance or business administration, with two years of entry level professional accounting experience.

Master`s degree without experience(master of business administration or master of accountancy)Degree must be obtained through an accredited institutionEducation is verified.
Preferred qualifications
Masters of accountancy (tax emphasis)
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Ability to perform routine and non-routine duties with little or no direct supervision (non-routine tasks are performed initially with general supervision, then after training able to perform non-routine tasks with limited supervision.)
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with microsoft word and excel and the internet
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
Ability to work alone or in groups to accomplish goals
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Physical requirements:
Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.
