KBR Looking for Unreal and Unity specialist at   Chennai Full Time

• Design, develop, and deploy immersive VR and AR solutions using Unreal Engine and Unity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and create realistic and interactive virtual environments.
• Create visually stunning and accurate 3D models and simulations of oil and gas facilities, equipment, and processes.
• Develop interactive and user-friendly interfaces for intuitive navigation and exploration. Build custom VR and AR applications for training, maintenance, safety, and process visualization purposes.
• Integrate real-time data feeds and IoT sensor inputs to enhance the realism and effectiveness of the applications.
• Create collaborative VR environments where multiple users can interact and collaborate in real-time. Develop features for shared experiences, remote collaboration, and data visualization. Optimize VR and AR applications for performance, ensuring smooth frame rates, efficient memory usage, and minimal latency.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to deliver high-quality experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications and skillset required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing VR and AR applications using Unreal Engine and Unity.
• Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine (Blueprints, C++) and Unity (C#), with a focus on creating interactive experiences and visualizations.
• Solid understanding of 3D modelling, animation, and rendering techniques.
• Experience in optimizing VR and AR applications for performance and compatibility across different devices and platforms.
• Familiarity with industry-standard VR and AR hardware (headsets, controllers, tracking systems) and their integration with software applications.
• Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry processes, equipment, and workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Creative mindset and attention to detail to deliver visually compelling and immersive experiences.
• Experience in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with other game engines or graphics frameworks (e.g., CryEngine, OpenGL) is a plus.
