Your responsibilities
This position is eligible for remote work at the present timeThe arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
As a glsg process and data analyst (global law services group) for john deere located in moline, il or johnston, ia, you will perform moderately complex analyses on legal spend, legal matters, and contract lifecycle management dataYou will be responsible for tracking metrics and kpi’s, facilitating the legal spend governance process, and identify opportunities to leverage our tiered vendor strategy, procurement excellence, and targeted insourcingIn addition, you will:
Facilitate the legal spend governance process to support the general counsel and legal practice area leaders in achieving legal spend metrics.
Define and implement reporting on data aligned to metrics and kpis.
Proactively identify legal spend improvement opportunities by partnering with legal practice area leaders to drive efficiency.
Collaborate with supply management and legal practice area leaders to prioritize and implement legal spend improvement opportunities.

What skills you need
4 or more years of experience in accounting, finance, supply management, or data analytics
4 or more years of experience using advanced power bi or microsoft excel reporting and analysis
Experience with sap and other accounting systems
Understanding of cost management principles
If working remotely, the ability to travel domestically up to 15%
What makes you stand out
Experience creating reports and dashboards in power bi, tableau, or excel
Experience analyzing legal spend, matter management, or contract data
Experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in an accounting/finance, supply management, computer science, or data analytics discipline
