Full job description

Objective the ms nav developer is responsible for working closely with internal solutions architects, business systems analysts, business analysts, and external partners in order to deliver systems solutions that enhance our overall business operations within and around our microsoft navision global erp solution1Responsible for overseeing all modifications made to erp system, with confirmation and guidance from the solutions architect2Design and build new functionalities and enhance/change existing functionalities in bc / nav; working with bc / nav objects (tables, pages, xmlports, queries, code units, and reports) and writing codes extensively in both c/al and al 3Develop integrations between bc / nav and other applications 4Provide technical issue resolution for bc / nav functionalities 5Develop and enhance company-built bc / nav solutions 6Co-share in the responsibility for optimizing the performance of the erp system 7Assist with all integrations with 3rd party software/ outside vendors 8Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting data and related interfaces that are sent and received to and from vendors, partners, and internal users9Aide in the analysis of the cost benefit for additional system development for upgradesRequirements 18+ years` experience as a nav developer2Experience with ssrs, sql server, office 365, sharepoint, edi, azure, power bi 3Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience) with 3+ years of database programming 4Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously 5Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company 6Organizational and documentation skills7Strong understanding of erp software and related terminology, functionality, best practices, processes, and business rulesIncluding areas such as inventory & warehouse management, costing, financials, manufacturing, service, purchasing, sales, crm, and fixed assets8Experience with upgrading nav to bc, including refactoring old c/al to al 9Experience with converting data from legacy systems into bc 10Experience with .net, java script, power platform, sql report builder, sql server, and logic apps (and other azure developer functions) preferred
