Roles & responsibilities:

We are currently hiring a part-time accounting clerk to join our teamWe are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the day-to-day functions of our accounting departmentThis position works on-site and will primarily be responsible for completing daily invoicing

Acknowledging orders in erp system (as400)
Invoicing; including printing, mailing, filing and edi (electronic data interchange)
Entering, printing, and invoicing customer orders
Collating invoices for internal reports
Providing back-up and support to accounting department
Mailing invoices and credit memos
Assisting with billing as needed
Data entry
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
3 or more years of practical accounting or bookkeeping experience (coop, internship, prior work experience, etc.)
Excellent computer skills (ms office)
Proficient in data entry
Strong attention to detail
Team player and quick learner

Schedule:

Part-time: 20-25 hours/week

(business office hours are monday-friday; 8am – 5pm)

Compensation & benefits:

Starting hourly rate is $21 – $23 per hour, depending on skills and experience level
