Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:
Develop and implement strategies to promote positive employee relations.
Address and resolve workplace conflicts, grievances, and disputes in a fair and consistent manner.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns, maintaining confidentiality and integrity throughout the process.
Termination of Employment:
Oversee the termination process, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Provide guidance and support to managers in handling employee separations.
Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify trends.
Compliance with Labor Laws:
Stay abreast of federal and state labor laws to ensure compliance in all aspects of HR operations.
Develop and update HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements.
Provide training to employees and managers on relevant labor law matters.
Discrimination Law Expertise:
Possess a deep understanding of discrimination laws and regulations.
Advise management on best practices for preventing discrimination and creating an inclusive workplace.
Work closely with legal counsel when necessary to address complex discrimination issues.
ADP Software Knowledge:
Utilize ADP software for efficient and accurate HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration, and reporting.
Provide training to HR staff and relevant stakeholders on ADP functionalities.
Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration and data security.
Paperwork and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements.
Prepare and manage documentation related to employee relations, conflicts, and terminations.
Generate reports for management and legal purposes as needed.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
– 4 years of proven experience in HR management, with a focus on employee relations and compliance.
– In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including discrimination laws.
– Experience with ADP software and other HRIS platforms.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
