Global delivery services (gds) operations management coe team (markets operations) aims to provide operational excellence through implementation of continuous improvement methodologies and tools, to build sustainable processes and practices that supports the business development leadership and various global markets functions of ey.
Our diverse teams specialize in coordinating business development (bd) activities, supporting go-to-market projects and providing operational support to the global sales and business development teamThe team is spread across multiple locations around the globe.
Roles & responsibilities
Prepare sales and pipeline dashboards that track kpis for our business and identify timely issues to keep a stable and efficient sales and pipeline data.
Collect, cleanse, integrate, data-mine and visualize a variety of internal and external data sources to identify opportunities and influence business development strategies.
Partner with our stakeholders and senior leaderships to understand, scope and prioritize our business needs.
Work closely with leadership to identify key data for various projects and extract and aggregate data from available data sources across ey into digestible and actionable formats.
Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to enable the team to scale as we grow.
Support global markets project implementationsActivities include, but are not limited to: leading client calls, capturing meeting notes and action items, understanding and analysing client business requirements, providing effective processes and solutions to meet client needs, training new joiners and preparing for deployment of service to stakeholders – all within defined timeframe of completion.
Build solutions to data management and reporting problems and to be able to adapt and modify solutions based on varying requirements.
Educate business teams and clients on end user functionality and features of analytical dashboards to derive better insights.
Be able to demonstrate effective communication skills, an ability to prioritize and manage work in order to meet deadlines, and strong organizational and planning skills.
Excellent listening, influencing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with customers, as well as within ey and our team.
Proven quantitative analytical skills, including the ability to synthesise complicated data into critical components that drive well-informed decisions.

Graduate / post-graduate – (business administration, finance, information and data science) with 5 to 8 years work experience in financial services industry having exposure to business process management (bpm), consulting, business process re-engineering (bpr), research, and/or corporate strategy.
Ability to build reports and analyse big data using data analytical and visualization tools.
Strong data visualization skills and experience using data tools, such as microsoft excel (intermediate to advanced) and power bi.
Strong ability to translate business needs into pragmatic solutions.
Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
Statistical analysis skills, including the ability to communicate somewhat complex quantitative analysis in layman’s terms, and tell succinct, impactful stories to senior management without overwhelming them with data and details.
Data presentation abilities that enable you to persuade audiences internally and externally, across organisational boundaries, in a clear, compelling, and successful manner.
Effective stakeholder communication, drafting meeting minutes to track progress and ability to make quick decisions based on data that changes and flows continuously.
Working knowledge of business intelligence platforms, data management platforms, or any programming languages like python, java, dax, sas, r-language, sql, vba.
