About the opportunity
Ellucian is seeking for a senior business analystYou will engage in developing product requirements from epics into user stories and collaborate with multiple teams analyze business requirments for quercus product offerings.
Where you will make an impact
Developing product requirements from epics into user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria in the given, when , then format for the product using document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis.
Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze functional requirements while delivering the following artifacts as needed; user stories, use cases, storyboards/wireframes, test scenarios, etc.
Working with development and qa resources in an agile scrum team, sharing functional knowledge and explaining requirements, to implement and test defect corrections and enhancements for existing and proposed software solutions.
Assisting in testing existing and proposed software solutions.
Taking a leading role in sprint backlog grooming and sprint reviews along with the product manager.
Assisting with the development of customer-focused documentation (user guides, training materials, etc.) for software solutions
Analyze and review business and functional requirements
Define systems capabilities to provide products that meet client`s needsWorks as a liaison among stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions to enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Tools used :- highly desirable – draw.io, balsamiq for creating mockups.
Knowledge of oracle pl/sql and sql are required.
Taking ownership of day to day deliverables and bringing it to a logical conclusion.
Last but not the least is the ability to work with a fast-paced high performing built around the culture of trust and candor.
What you will bring
Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in a manual functional software testing role.
Computer science degree or related field, or equivalent experience
Familiarity with jira , confluence, salesforce, service now.
Takes a logical, analytical approach and innovative approach to problem solving and has an eye for detail.
Experience working in agile scrum.
Experience working as a ba for enterprise solutions and able to lead other ba (s) in the team.
Strong team player able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of backgrounds and areas across the organization.
Working knowledge of relational databases and sql.
Experience in writing stories for epics keeping in mind the regulatory and integration dependencies.
Experience of version management tools like github/bitbucket.
Taking ownership of day to day deliverables and bringing it to a logical conclusion.
