About the role:
Dibber is looking to hire an experienced Network Engineer to join its Global Capability Centre (GCC) team. The GCC team comprises network architects, cloud architects, email SMEs, and EUC support engineers, and is in Bangalore. We support our schools across Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, South Africa, Dubai & India. This role oversees our global network infrastructure and manages the setup across all regions.
Job responsibilities:
• The position requires frequent interaction with employees, customers, technicians, analysts, and specialists to troubleshoot problems related to the use of single and/or multiple information systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned project responsibilities under limited supervision.
Required Qualifications/ Skills:
• At least 12 years of experience in the Network Domain.
• Strong support experience in building Network Infrastructure remotely.
• Ability to remotely setup firewalls, coordinate & deploy ISPs, load balancing, high availability configurations, core switch, VLAN setup.
• Ability to diagnose and solve overall network-related issues.
• Provide advanced-level support issues related to switches, access points, firewalls, routers, and modems.
• Perform ISP management across multiple locations as required.
• Perform network policy management as defined in the customer environment.
• Coordinate with the Subcontractor for any onsite intervention and provide remote network support as required.
• Coordinate with network devices OEM for troubleshooting and manage VPN services.
• Create and build documents, SOPs, knowledge base, and reports.
• Effectively communicate with other team members, the Service Desk team, and end users to provide and process information in response to Incidents, Service Requests, Queries, and Escalations and meet the committed SLAs.
• Perform required action on all incoming requests or incidents within the agreed TAT & SLA and provide updates in the ITSM tool.
• Follow up on the existing tickets, escalate unsolved cases to the appropriate IT support team: Workplace, Server, Applications, or other Support teams, and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage personal and team backlog and perform daily ticket checks and backlog activities.
• Attend operational telephone conferences and meetings.
• Solve complicated cases from the team backlog.
• Monitor all critical network devices on a real-time basis & provide proactive support & prevent any high-severity incidents.
• Maintain, update & track all Network Devices (Global) asset registers periodically.
• Attend training and certifications as required to upgrade your skills and solve complicated issues
Minimum Requirements:
• Education: bachelor’s degree
• Experience: Minimum 12+ Years’ experience in the same domain
• Should be open to work from the office, three days a week
