If there’s an issue with a customer’s product, we’ll analyze it, identify the cause, recommend a solution and document the problem.

As part of our Technical Support team you will work with highly skilled technical advisors to develop and deliver solutions that enable customers to maximize returns on IT investments, drive efficiencies and reduce costs.
You Will:
- Provide hardware and software technical support, including configuration assistance and troubleshooting of devices and other peripheral networking equipment
- Handles customer issues from beginning to resolution, Identifies and provides input on unique or recurring customer problems.
- Uses troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify products that are defective and follow guidelines in issuing service calls/contacts.
- Advises/educates customers within procedural guidelines to ensure a complete solution to their technical or service questions.
- Remains knowledgeable of Dell’s product line, current industry products and technologies and focuses on delivering a positive customer experience according to Dell standards.
- Monitors and tracks issues to ensure accurate resolution.
- Escalate when required to next level on technical issue and resolve customer reported issues within agreed SLA.

Essential Requirements:
- 2 to 5 Years of overall Technical support Experience Or 2+ years of Experience in Server/Storage Domain
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with clients, senior level personnel, team members, and support staff
- Very good understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals and good understanding of OSI layers
- Experience in Troubleshooting & resolving incidents and problem tickets for the role routers, switches, load-balancers, DNS and Wireless devices within SLA, Installing and configuring Routers and Switches,Configuring and operates Simple routed LAN & routed WAN Configuring ARP, VLAN 802.1Q, all flavors of STP, Link aggregation, MLAG/VPC, Stacking, Unicast, Multicast and Broadcast traffic analysis Replacing the network hardware in case of failures and up gradation
- Extensive knowledge and network troubleshooting skills in IP routing and switching protocols
Desirable Requirements:
- Industry certificate on networking and Server troubleshooting skills will be added value.
- Knowledge of Server / Virtualization will be an added advantage.
