CNH Industrial Looking for Engineering Process & Tools (GD&T, Drafting Practices) at   Gurgaon Full Time

Advance Engineer- Engineering Process & Tools (GD&T, Drafting Practices) is responsible for developing and maintaining a variety of engineering documents including CNH Industrial Drawing Standards, Guidelines and Training Materials in conjunction with the Technical Expert Communities, Engineering, PD Purchasing, Manufacturing, PV, Quality and Product Platforms.

This role responds to inquiries regarding general aspects of Drafting Practices, detailing of 2D Drawings and Annotated 3D Models (Model Based Definition — MBD), Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) derived from International, National and Industry standards This role provides technical support to those developing engineering standards and guidelines, and to the team responsible for engineering process and tools.

Responsibilities Include:

Lead the Drafting Practices Community and facilitate other Technical Expert Communities with the development, approval and publication of specific engineering documents as needed.

Responsible for information related to Drafting Practices, detailing of 2D Drawings and Annotated 3D Models (Model Based Definition — MBD), Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Resolve issues that arise from interpretation of engineering standards, in particular Drafting, MBD and GD&T.

Works in tight collaboration providing leadership with multiple internal stakeholders and business segments including Engineering, PD Purchasing, Product Platforms, Manufacturing, PV, Quality and Service Parts.

Process and Tools development — Works in close conjunction with the process and tools team, the business leaders and development team to negotiate, agree and define new and to modify existing CNH Industrial methods and procedures. Participate in Design Sessions as required working with the methods team, IT and software vendors to develop tool solutions. Documentation of Business requirements, i.e. writing detailed documents describing both the tool behavior and new processes.

The qualified candidate will have:

8-12 years’ experience in product development,solid knowledge engineering Drafting Practices, Drawing Standards and GD&T

Extensive knowledge of PDM & CAD tools and processes, as well as GPD process

Main IT applications knowledge: Windows Office, Windows Project, CREO (CAD), Teamcenter (PDM), E-BoM

Demonstrated strong Standards writing skills and attention to

Availability for Regional and International travel from time to time
