About Wholesale Banking Products:
Wholesale Banking Products Department focuses on the gamut of corporate products viz. Current Accounts, CMS, Trade and Forex, BBPS and Fastag and Sector Solutions. It also focuses on onboarding of customers, portfolio management and services of the corporate customers. The Marketing and the Implementation team manages the branding and smooth onboarding of customers. Capital Fund Division is a niche segment focus on Bankers to the Issue (BTI) Services; Escrow, RERA and CSR products.
Wholesale Banking in Axis Bank works along with large,
mid-corporate and multi-national clients as well as commercial banking group and provides customized solutions across loan and fee-based products and services. Within the Wholesale Bank, the Wholesale Banking Products Group focuses on transaction banking or flow businesses, i.e. current accounts, collection & payments solutions, trade services, forex remittances, capital market solutions as well as supply chain financing. We are focused on becoming India’s most respected Transaction Bank.
About the Role
The Client Management team will focus on driving WBP products across customers, starting from the top 1000 customers of WBCG and then expand further, eventually covering all of the WBCG customers. The team will be responsible for owning client ownership for WBP products and therefore play a complementing role with coverage team. It will also drive commercial outcomes by ensuring product penetration, ensure optimal utilization across each product, deepen digital adoption and orchestrate high levels of service delivery across teams within the bank.
Client Management will run a P&L; responsibility commensurate with the responsibilities. The rich experience at Client Management in terms of products managed, spectrum of clients covered and functional deliverables will open up career progression possibilities across coverage, product management, digital / neo banking, sales, etc. to name a few.
Key Responsibilities
– Own client relationship for WBP products and work closely with coverage and product sales team
– Enhance WBP product penetration
– Ensure optimal utilization and throughput
– Drive revenue protection and generation by driving commercial and pricing behavior vis-à-vis customer potential and commitment
– Deepen digital penetration across digital channels of the bank
– Orchestrate best in class service delivery in coordination with internal teams
– Responsibility of driving quantified targets across WBP products
Qualifications
– 8+ years of relevant work experience
– Experience in client facing roles from BFSI industry is preferred
– Should have knowledge of Trade and/or CMS
– Preferably Post Graduate
– Team / People management experience will be an added advantage
