We have an immediate opening for a Regional Lead – DT Data and Analytics. This position is located at our corporate office in Pune, India.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position will be accountable for leading the day-to-day operations of the DT Data and Analytics teams (~20 DT Professionals) in India with an emphasis on the delivery of secure, highly available Data and Analytics services including Qlik, SAP BI/BW, Data Archiving, Data Engineering and Advance Analytics in the areas of Operational Research.
Develop and mentor a team of DT professionals including recruitment, supervision, talent management, learning and career development.
Provide leadership and effective communication in support of the DT and business organization goals and objectives.
Ensure consistent and reliable services that support and align with our established service level agreements to maintain efficient and high-quality operations.
Serve as an escalation point while managing incident resolution within the environment, facilitating collaboration among other Data and Analytics teams as required in all regions.
Manage Data and Analytics costs in the region aligned to the DT India budget.
Partner with global functional leadership to:Establish and maintain effective relationships with Data and Analytics counterparts in all regions.
Ensure seamless execution of employee engagement and talent management activities with reference to execution process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related experience required
10+ years’ of work experience in the Digital Technology industry and managing diverse teams.
Dynamic professional with experience in Data and Analytics service management with knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Qlik, SAP BW), Information Management tools (MDM, SAP Data Archiving, Cataloging), and/or Advance Analytics solutions in the areas of Operational Research (Optimization, Simulation, Queuing Theory, Statistical/Predictive Modeling), Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Prior work experience as an Enterprise Architect in the data domain in a plus.
A positive attitude, strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work with teams and peers collaboratively to enhance employee engagement.
Strong leadership, influencing, interpersonal/communication, coaching and collaboration skills with ability to communicate business goals & objectives to team in an effective way.
Demonstrated ability to work in a highly demanding operational and support environment while maintaining service levels and business continuity.
Excellent ability to coordinate with different people at one time under difficult situations and the ability to bring out the best in others while maintaining our 4S culture (Speed, Simplicity, Self-Confidence, Safety).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive professional who can rapidly identify problems (Process or People improvement), formulate tactical plans, initiate change and implement effective programs in challenging and diverse environments.
