Key responsibilities : a: engineer with hands-on experience on monitoring and tracing systems implementation and configuration eg health metrics configuration b: the candidate must also know aws services like cloud-watch and x-ray
Technical experience : a: grafana, prometheus stack, knowing how to set-up and configure a monitoring system in a hybrid architecture; b: opentelemetry knowledge; c: sli/slo definition, key metrics to monitor, and on alerting configuration; d: aws experience on cloud-watch and x-ray; e: splunk stack, knowing how to configure and work with a logging system; f: nice to have: experience on integration with atlassian opsgenie;
Professional attributes : a: excellent communication skills both written and spoken b: team player with excellent technical, communication and problem-solving skills c: general willingness to learn and adapt the technology with strong understanding of fundamental web/internet technologies
