About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive our business in the Defence and Aerospace sectors. This role requires a blend of technical acumen and commercial expertise, focusing on developing business for Built to Print Manufacturing and System Integration of Electronic products.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, fostering relationships, and ultimately driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
– Develop Business Opportunities: Cultivate and expand our presence in the Defence and Aerospace sectors, focusing on Built to Print Manufacturing and System Integration of Electronic products.
– Market Analysis: Understand and analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
– Strategic Networking: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Defence and Aerospace organisations, including DRDO, across India.
– Generate RFQs: Collaborate with senior facilitators to generate Requests for Quotations (RFQs) that lead to substantial revenue.
– Organizational Insight: Analyze and understand the dynamics of target organisations, their processes, and people, providing valuable feedback to management.
– Team Leadership: Build and lead a team dedicated to growing business in the Defence and Aerospace sectors.
Qualifications:
– Experience:
Proven track record in business development, preferably in the Defence and Aerospace sectors.
– Network: Established connections within Defence and Aerospace Organisations, particularly with decision-makers.
– Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electronic systems and the ability to communicate technical details effectively.
– Leadership: Experience in leading teams and driving business growth.
– Education: A degree in a relevant field, with additional qualifications or certifications being advantageous.
