Job description overview:
Regional sales manager for ppds assigned to the pd sales teamResponsible for all professional display sales functions within the northwest regionRequired to develop and manage a professional display focused dealer base within the assigned regionThe candidate will work to develop business relationships that best leverage and enable ppds signage solutions with across all verticals.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Works with ppds sales & product management teams to develop signage go-to-market strategies for ppds products and services.
Proactively identifies sales opportunities across sales verticals.
Focuses to develop ppds relationships and engagement within all levels of the assigned dealer base and end customers.
Executes a business plan focused on driving unit/revenue growth and measurement against defined targets for the assigned dealer base and target vertical.
Maintains multiple contacts within the customer base, providing routine communication about ppds products, programs, offers, and promotions.
Travels to various dealer and end customer locations to conduct face-to-face trainings and meetings to further develop ppds business.
Weekly engagement to drive awareness and visibility for both short-term & long-term sales opportunities/pipeline.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned rep firms and key dealers/system integrators
Required knowledge, years of education, work experience, skill sets, and/or certification:
College degree.
5+ years of prior outside sales experience in hardware, software, or services – display preferred.
Named account relationships across commercial verticals, including but not limited to retail, corporate, healthcare, and transportation .
High understanding of indirect commercial sales and customer acquisition process.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to articulate the ppds value proposition.
Ability to influence at all levels within customer and dealer base.
Expert knowledge of industry trends, competition, customer buying patterns and marketing techniques.
Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across organizations.
Exceptional time management, prioritization, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to self-direct and work remotely.
Highly proficient with ms powerpoint and excel.
If applicable, preferred qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree.
Business plan development and execution.
Demonstrated quota achievement.
Strong knowledge of commercial distribution, dmr/var/dealer channel, and commercial customer base.
Technical proficiency in hardware/it environments.
Proven ability to sell in complex and dynamic situations.
Working conditions:
Works remotely in usa.
Daily telephone, email, ms teams communication.
50%+ travel required.
