Location: Pan IndiaJob Description Role & ResponsibilitiesTranslate business requirements into technical requirementsCreate/modify high/low level infrastructure and cross functional design, techno-commercial proposals to meet customer requirementPresent designs to customer and get sign-off during project execution phaseLead all conversations with vendor for any technical requirement during pre-sales or project execution pahsesHandle vendors communication to design required architecture (especially non IT related vendors)Handle pre-sales activities like Sizing efforts and duration as per technical work involvedAssist project/program manager and sales team in completing pre-sales related technical documents. It could be customer demanded projects or RFPs/RFIsRequired Candidate Profile:Be responsible and accountable for the implementation of design, functional testing, UAT and handover (to BAU and customer)Must be proactive to pick topics, work on them, drive and closeAbility to understand and design the business resilience and data centre strategies for customers across technology. Ability to perform independently consulting assessment reviews and assisting client organization with development, execution and testing of overall solution. Intimate knowledge and understanding of the methods used in performing risk analysis and business impact analysesKnowledge:Able to communicate clearly and effectively in EnglishComprehend, document and strategies customer & business requirementsHands on experience in delivering high value System Integration projects. Hands on experience in DC Migration projects migrating IT Assets (Servers, Storage, Network) from one data centre to another.Must have deep understanding on various aspects of technology such as (not all of them though); Servers (UNIX and Wintel)Consolidation and VirtualizationData centre migration.Azure cloud subscription model, admin and architectureStorage and backupData centre build and implementationNetwork (LAN and WAN)Disaster Recovery/BCPDatabase (Oracle/SQL/DB2 etc)Strong technical background in one of the core IT Infrastructure areas like Platform/Network/Database (L3 or above)Deep understanding about the buildup of a Data center.
