What does the role entail?
Product messaging: zero-in on the ideal customer profile(icp) for a product and/or feature basis competition and market research, and then create messaging that makes understanding the product/feature easy for the icp which leads to interest generation in the product
Product collaterals and sales enablement: translate the product messaging into different marketing material like product web pages, emails, ad-copies, blogs, sales enablement collaterals like sales deck, battlecards, etc.
Formulate gtm: identify the different marketing channels that can be utilized for go-to-market, potential impact, their priorities, budgeting, and timelines
Customer success stories: onboard existing and potential customers to conduct their interviews with the objective of identifying their use case of the product/feature, identify impact the product/feature has had on the customer’s business, and convert that into inspiring stories
Customer adoption, retention and advocacy: help customers to adopt new released products/features by creating awareness and create more active users to eventually convert customers to be vwo brand ambassadors to start a word of mouth growth.
Program management: efficiently collaborate with members of the different marketing sub-functions and other functions to deliver on planned activities
Data-driven impact analysis and agility: identify the performance of the different campaigns, gtm activities and adjust the messaging/parameters forward accordingly
Kra ownership:
Primary kra: number of product leads generated, product adoption metrics, rentention
Secondary kra: lead quality, lead to customer conversion rates, conversion rates of product collaterals
Some other functions you would be working with
Sales: identify collaterals required and deliver them for successful selling
Product management: align with the product roadmap and have a strong understanding of the reason why the product/feature is being built
Customer marketing: identify feature adoption for existing customers and take necessary actions
Content marketing: collaborate to create content in accordance with product messaging
Design: ensure all marketing communication is visually appealing and in accordance with design guidelines
Web-development: take marketing communication live on the website as per the go-to-market activities and ensure visitor interaction is smooth
