A versatile senior qa automation engineer able to deliver high quality product by efficient means and minimal supervision
Gathers the test needs by collaborating with the product owner, development team and other key stakeholders instrumental to the project
Translates the test requirements into automation testing procedures
Log detailed defects and following up until resolution
Design, develop and drive automation tools and frameworks
Contribute to automated testing repositories and perform peer code reviews
Develop & execute performance test scripts specific to the product needs
Identifies ways to optimize the testing window and maximize the quality of the product
Drive quality across all disciplines, providing guidance and suggestions to improve reliability, performance, and scalability
Work with devops team to integrate the test automation into the ci/cd pipeline
Define, apply & maintain effective automation design standards and practices with the objectives of maximizing reusability and maintainability
Have a problem solving mindset
Accurately and promptly communicate the testing events, daily statuses, test results, and metrics
Be able to work in an agile environment, performing qa duties for multiple teams, working on a variety of products
Clearly express product-level testing concerns and testing categories in ci/cd pipelines
Required qualifications:
3+ years experience of qa testing, 5+ years of automation development experience
Expert in designing, coding and maintaining test automation frameworks
Expert in integrating test automation into ci/cd using azure devops/bamboo/jenkins
Expert in writing and debugging test automation code for ui/api
Strong knowledge of rest and soap apis
Solid knowledge with database and testing tools
Experience with selenium
Experience using jira cloud
Strong knowledge of oop
Strong knowledge of java
Experience with microservices testing & different strategies
Solid experience with jmeter, neoload, or any other performance testing tool
Experience with git
Experience with testing of control-m jobs
Bdd knowledge (cucumber/specflow)
It would be nice if you:
Can show us one or more passion projects or open-source work you have contributed to in your own time
Have experience with golang, mongodb, aws, and terraform.
