Vellore Institute of Technology Looking for Lab Assistant (VAIAL) – Animal Sciences + Dairy and Poultry at Vellore, Tamil Nadu Full Time

Set up or maintain laboratory equipment and collect samples from crops, field or animals.

Prepare specimens or record data to assist scientists in biology or related life science experiments.

Collect samples for other UDAF programs as needed

Perform procedures to prepare the samples for analysis, including grinding, weighing, and diluting samples, assistance in class and field experiments.

Perform essential laboratory housekeeping functions, including temperature tracking, solution preparation, data entry, data analysis and cleaning.

Follow established laboratory practices, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Maintain the work area and all lab equipment and supplies.

Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records.
