Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a IT Technician – Data Analytics reporting directly to the Assistant General Manager – R&D | Data Analytics. This is a hybrid opportunity, 2 days remote per week , shift timing 12pm to 9pm (IST). The base location is Gurgaon, India.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Database Administration for SQL Server Databases (GUOA & Specification Database):As a database administrator (DBA), you’ll manage and maintain the GUOA and Specification databases.
• Power BI Tools Development: Enhance existing tools like Express Care Analysis to improve their effectiveness.
• Integrate with SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) to create a seamless experience for users.
• Data Modeling and Visualization
• Web Scraping with Python
• Expanding Existing Data Mining, Visualization, and Analytics Projects
• Proactive & Predictive Maintenance and Anomaly Detection
• Process Visualization and Optimization
• Supporting Algorithm Maintenance, Validation, and Improvement

What You’ll Need

• Education: A B.Tech/B.E/BCA/MCA/M.Tech or any relevant degree is essential. This educational background provides a strong foundation in computer science, data analytics, and related fields.
• Experience: You should have 2-4 years of experience in Data Analytics & Visualization. This experience allows you to understand data, extract insights, and create meaningful visualizations.

What Will Set You Apart

• Coding Proficiency: Writing clean, solid, and readable code is crucial. Whether you’re working with Python, SQL, or other languages, maintain code quality and adhere to best practices.
• Technical Skills: Python: Familiarity with Python is important. It’s a versatile language for data manipulation, analysis, and web scraping.
• Power BI: Proficiency in Power BI is valuable. Use it to create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• SQL: Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) is essential for database querying and management.
• SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud): Experience with SAC enhances your ability to work with cloud-based analytics tools.
• Collaboration and Independence: You’ll need to balance both. Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and users. At the same time, demonstrate independence in problem-solving and decision-making.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills are vital. Whether you’re explaining insights to business users or documenting findings, clear communication is key.
