Job Description

Understands business needs and in depth understanding of Tesco processes

– Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge by applying CI tools and techniques.
– Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI’s
– Solves problems by analyzing solution alternatives
– Identifying operational improvements and finding solutions by applying CI tools and techniques
– Performs Contract Management activities; build; amend; execute supplier contracts
– Support Agreement (CPA/BPA) related activities – creation; maintenance and reporting
– Responsible for Event management (launch and execute e-Sourcing events)
– Leads and supports supplier queries related to Source to Contract and Procure to Pay

– Conduct and report supplier performance evaluation activities such as reputation and financial status
– Monitors workflow ‘workbench’ for supplier registrations (no automated flow to designated category mgr)
– Comply and promote the department’s procurement policies and process
– Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity & due diligence
– Be the SME and point of contact for the vertical and ensure knowledge is up to date on new processes and ways of working
– Publish the critical metric in performance reports. Updates SOPs as instructed

Supplier sourcing practices (researching; evaluating and liaising with vendors)

Basic Supplier negotiation skills
