Position mission statement:
Tea drops is seeking to hire an enthusiastic, creative, and digital first design directorThis person will be responsible and a steward of the visual look and feel of the brand across channels, design and developing best in class ux/ui for our ecommerce store and be instrumental in helping to support and lead various projects and initiatives from a creative perspectiveThis person is a strategic and detail oriented thinker who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, can think outside of the box and is a self starter.This person will join a small team (12 ft employees) and contribute largely to all marketing initiatives and business initiatives that are largely contributing to growth of the company They will report to the vp of marketingThe right candidate is a resourceful, hungry and driven individual who loves and embraces tea culture.

Job description: associate creative director/senior designer
The design director will lead the creative direction for tea drops across brand, packaging, web/digital, and physical retail executionThis role will direct and create visual assets across our companies including digital ads, emails, banner ads, marketing collateral, brochures, packaging, photoshoots, influencer direction, etcThis role will have up to two direct reports.
Please note, this is not a web design or development position, though an understanding of those disciplines is critical.
Specific responsibilities include:
Updating and maintaining brand book standards and guidelines across company and work with key stakeholders on how best to express the brand across mediums and channels; act as brand filter and quality control for all team’s work
Champion creative direction to make compelling and captivating content that engage site visitors, audiences and customer into purchases across channels – site, in store – work towards the broader vision of making tea drops a recognized and trusted brand by telling our story
Ability to work with the marketing team and garner insights to further innovate creative design and direction that will improve engagement and conversion
Developing and designing digital assets (email, web banners, display ads, etc)
Developing and designing powerpoint slides
Creating and managing key brand/marketing campaigns
Designing marketing collateral (brochures, packaging, swag merchandise, postcards, etc)
Leading the creative direction (shot list and guides) for all photoshoot and video execution and sourcing photographers and all things needed for the shoot
Have experience in digital design and ux/ui and understand best practices in ecommerce ux/ui
Contribute to the marketing calendar planning, helping to ideate new campaign ideas, content and how to bring the campaign to life as well as helping to execute via creative
Manage and secure resources needed for the creative team to effectively execute their day-to-day responsibilities; be able to manage a budget
Lead the organization of all assets, managing across multiple stakeholders to ensure correct usage and accessibility

Qualifications
Ability translate a great deal of information into visually digestible, simple, and aesthetically enticing collateral
Hands on experience in dtc ecommerce
Highly creative with experience creating both digital and print creative
Experience with ecommerce and cpg is a plus
