About the job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a director of ecommerce operations to join our digital teamThis individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce operations team and will manage a diverse portfolio of cross-functional initiativesThis position will drive the strategy and execution to deliver a best in class post purchase customer experience, product manage elevation of the ecommerce platform, as well as the integration of tools and third party vendors to support and improve the work of the ecommerce team in driving the business.
This position will work with internal and external partners to address issues and concerns and continually look for ways to improve the processes and systemsInternally, this role will engage with cross-functional partners including (but not limited to): engineering, supply chain, customer care, store operations, finance, and analytics.
What you’ll do | key accountabilities
Create and own the product roadmap to deliver a best in class post purchase customer experience: inclusive of strategy, product management ownership, execution and maintenance.
Work cross functionally with the supply chain and store operations to drive improvements in their processes to support the post purchase experience.
Collaborate with various teams on the post purchase customer transactional communications.
Continually monitor key kpis for the post purchase customer experience to drive a strong customer experience and efficiency in the system.
Drive the business requirements, product management, and execution of migrating to a new ecommerce platform in partnership with our business and engineering teams.
Research industry best practices to identify, evaluate, and work cross functionally to implement tools to deliver capabilities that help our teams be effective and efficient in delivering the best experience in our ecommerce businesses.
Manage third party vendor relationships providing services and/or tools.
Skills & experience
Bachelor degree in a business related field
12+ years experience in a role focused on product management, backend systems development
Proven ability to build effective partnerships and interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels to influence results
Strong communication and project management skills
Able to lead presentations and effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans
Strong negotiating and partnership management skills
Creative problem solver with the ability to prioritize initiatives and anticipate business needs
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights and optimizations
Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovatively, and creatively using sound business judgment and quantitative skills
Proven ability to influence others
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
Self-motivated, results and solution oriented, strategic thinker
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Work environment, physical & mental demands
Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
