Position summary
T-mobile is america’s supercharged un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4g lte and transformative nationwide 5g network that will offer reliable connectivity for allEngineers, software located in overland park, ks will develop cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Analyze systems requirements, existing business processes and information systems.

Code, test, and debug software applications.

Implement software applications that are more complex with full competency.

Develop and maintain applications built in the java spring framework.

Skill requirements:

(1) experience using javascript, java (jdk), jsp, html: scripting languages like javascript for process automation scripting and java (jdk), jsp, html for back-end coding.

(2) experience using atlassian tools, including jira for work management, which includes analysis, requirements gathering, design and developing enhancements, and features for the tools and applications used.

(3) experience with test case management which includes test case execution, test automation, reporting test results and establishing linkages to the requirements for traceability purposes.

(4) experience using gitlab as the version control which serves as a continuous delivery platform for company software development.

(5) experience using oracle for data management, and experience using sql developer as integrated development environments to perform data transactions.

(6) experience using agile to achieve business agility; spring web mvc to provide a comprehensive programming and configuration model for modern java enterprise applications; struts frameworks to design and develop legacy applications; and spring sts ide to configure, debug, code, build and run the java web application.

Experience and education requirements:

Primary requirements: master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related and one year of relevant experience.

Alternative requirements: bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related, and three years of relevant work experience.

Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
