Supplyhouse.com is looking for a talented full stack engineer to add to our team! this is a great opportunity to sharpen your front and back-end development skills in a fun and innovative environment.

This is a remote-based role within select states in the united statesAt this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: florida, georgia, nevada, new jersey, new york, north carolina, ohio, south carolina, tennessee, texas, and washington.
This position will require travel to our ny office headquarters for up to four times per year for internal meetings and team-building activitiesThe cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the companyAdditionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.

A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Responsibilities:

Participating in all phases of software development: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Implementing user-friendly front-end functionalities for our shopping site and supporting backend apis and services
Developing applications to support company internal operations
Ensuring system reliability and optimizing performance
Developing new user-interface (ui) components
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensuring the technical feasibility of ui/ux designs
Optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability
Creating and maintaining promotional banners throughout the site
Building templates for new pages and page redesigns

Requirements:

Bachelor`s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
2+ years’ experience as a software engineer with excellent design, problem solving and debugging skills
Minimum 2 year of experience in html, javascript, css and the latest developments in front-end technology and cross-browser responsive css (bootstrap, css3) and javascript libraries (react, jquery etc.)
Minimum 2 years of experience in programming languages, specifically java & sql (rdbms concepts)
Minimum 2 years of experience developing web applications
Experience with the full software development life cycle; front-end and back-end web application development; implementing business logic and developing user interfaces
