What you will do
In the srGlobal trade analyst role, you will be responsible for executing global processes and solutions to determine global trade attributes for all stryker products, raw materials and componentsIn this role, you will interface with key global stakeholders to obtain all relevant information, determine which regulations apply and assign appropriate classifications and attributesYou will capture supporting evidence for determinations and record themThis role will serve as the global trade representative for manufacture transfers, new product development and supplier initiated change requestsThis role will support stryker’s customs brokers in clearance of goods through broker requests government agency holds, inspections, requests for information and auditsIncumbent in this role is the ongoing assessment of tools and processes and the submission of recommendations to the global trade management leadership for modifications, improvements to maximize efficiencies, and mitigate risk of non-compliance.
Responsibilities may include:
Determines global trade data attributes of new and transfer stryker products by applying understanding and interpreting 19 cfr, trade agreements act, fda import regulations for both medical device and pharmaceuticals, animal and plant health inspection services regulations, dea import regulations, epa import regulations, bureau of industry and security regulations.
Supports audits from cbp, fda, dea, epa and bis by acting as subject matter experts in import and export compliance and regulations.
Drives key stakeholders to obtain relevant product information supporting data attribute determination by the requested return dates.
Communicates with internal and external legal counsel to seek guidance and interpretation of the relevant product information leading to the global trade data attributes determination.
Executes specific practices to accurately support the global trade data attributes determination based on the us trade agreements act for stryker products sold to the us government.
Document rationale and evidence to support global trade data attributes determinations for document retention.
Responsible for managing the data quality of global trade data attributes in the data repository and adjacent systems.
Works with stryker’s custom brokers and transportation to assist in the clearance of goods including interfacing with customs and any partner government agencies (for example fda, epa)
Supports preferential global trade data attributes determination including but not limited to usmca, us-au, us-chile, us-columbia, us-korea.
Partners with global trade leadership to continually assess the global trade data attributes determination process and recommends appropriate operational improvements
Responsible for continual improvement within the program, proactively improving processes, forms, databases, and data quality.
Maintains a general educational awareness of governmental regulations and laws that affect the stryker business relevant to global trade data attributes.
What you need
Bachelor`s degree requiredMaster’s degree highly preferred.
