Position summary
The entry level peoplesoft developer (professional) is focused on learning the oracle peoplesoft applications and toolsetsOracle peoplesoft’s peopletools is a comprehensive development toolset that supports the development and runtime of peoplesoft applicationThis position will be heavily involved with the documentation process.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in major system initiatives and provide installation, maintenance, and customer support for state of wisconsin’s enterprise technology environment.

The peoplesoft developer (senior) focuses on assisting senior staff on technical installation and maintenance support for peoplesoft applications and associated hardware, software, and services.
Key responsibilities include:
Product development and implementation to ensure the timely delivery of application changes.
Support for enhancements and ongoing maintenance of applications.

The advanced peoplesoft developer (specialist) manages activities for and performs complex product development and maintenance for state of wisconsin’s enterprise technology environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Support agencies/divisions through the application development process including the definition and design of specifications for the interfaces, data conversions, reports, etc.
Ensure the application integration & development process is managed properly to achieve the overall business goals.

This position is eligible for participation in telework under the region 1 policy within the state of wi that is subject to change.
Salary information
Starting salary for the:
Is enterprise systems development specialist (07-33) will be between $30.94 – $47.46 an hour.
Is enterprise systems development senior (07-34) will be between $26.50 – $41.13 an hour.
Is enterprise systems development professional (07-35) will be between $22.10 – $34.83 an hour.
For current permanent state employees, pay will be set in accordance with the state compensation plan.

Qualifications
Entry peoplesoft developer
Minimally qualified applicants will have:
Technical writing skills such as creating user manuals, software documentation, training documentations, or similar
Software development such as researching, training, designing, implementing or managing software programs, or similar.
Peoplesoft developer
Minimally qualified applicants for the peoplesoft developer will have:
Technical writing skills such as creating user manuals, software documentation, training documentations, or similar
Software development experience with development tools such as but not limited to: peoplecode, ruby, python, c#, c++, cobol, app designer, etc
Experience with enterprise resource planning (erp)
Experience with production support
Advanced peoplesoft developer
Minimally qualified applicants for the advanced peoplesoft developer will have:
Peoplesoft development experience (any peopletools, app designer, peoplecode, bi publisher) or another enterprise system such as workday, oracle, or sap.
Working with vendors on bug resolution
