Description:
Our client is Seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Head to oversee their
organization’s IT department. The IT Head will be responsible for leading and managing all
aspects of our IT infrastructure, systems, and operations. Define IT roadmap for the
organization and oversee implementation of IT initiatives. The successful candidate will
ensure the efficient and effective delivery of IT services and solutions in alignment with
business objectives.
General Skills:
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support the
organization’s goals and objectives.
• Manage and supervise the IT team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT
infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, and software applications.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the organization’s data and information systems.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions and investments to improve operational
efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs and
requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to
financial targets.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their
potential impact on the organization’s IT strategy.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on IT performance, projects,
and initiatives.
The Successful Applicant must have:
• Built and maintained an IT Infrastructure for minimum of 500-1k+ users.
• Strong expertise in Network Architecture and Wireless Networks, Cloud
• Deep understanding security orchestration automation and response technologies
(SOAR)
• Experience in mid-size datacentre operation in the past
• Good knowledge of AWS or similar services
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within IT, with a minimum of 12+ years of relevant
experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business
objectives.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
