So-Hum Smiles is an upcoming private learning and therapy centre educating children with special needs in Dwarka Expressway, Gurgaon. These students may have learning, emotional and/or behavioral challenges and struggle to succeed in a traditional classroom setting. So-Hum Smiles aims to offer each student a different kind of academic experience and a renewed chance at success.

We are looking for RCI registered Special Education Teachers who are motivated, compassionate and who have a calling and passion for helping children. We are looking for both freshers and experienced individuals with initiative, creativity and desire to have a positive impact on a child’s life. Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Special Education by an RCI recognized institution
• Experience working with multiple disabilities, including autism spectrum, ADD and ADHD, Asperges, learning disabilities, developmental delays and abuse/neglect issues
• Positive, compassionate personality

• Strong understanding of Disabilities and teaching methodologies for Special Education
• Patience and dedication towards inclusive education

Job responsibilities:

• Ability to evaluate/assess students accurately and objectively through popular tools
• Create and execute Individual Education Plans (IEP) for each of the students
• Communicate with other staff and family members about each student’s progress and struggles and establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents and other stakeholders
• Create and distribute progress reports periodically
• Training different activities to the kids as per the center’s program structure and guidance by management
• To be part of case discussions, workshops, seminars, camps etc as per the center requirements
• Experience/Education in other related fields-speech, counselling psychology will be preferred

Experience: Hiring both Freshers (Special needs teachers assistant) and experienced staff

Salary: INR 12,000 to 25,000 Per Month

Schedule: Day Shift/Full time/Mon-Fri with Saturday as half day
