Leverage appropriate multi-media development, ensuring solutions are scalable and sustainable.
Develop and maintain instructional design / instructional media skills and knowledge.
Use appropriate technology and processes to track and report progress against delivery goals.
Consult with business leaders, learning solution managers, media specialists, business smes and other team members on the design and development of learning solutions
Build strong partnerships with smes throughout discovery, design, development, piloting and delivery processes for effective learning solutions.
Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning
Responsibilities
As a key team player, understand, contribute to, challenge and champion emea talent short- and longer-term strategies
Design/deliver high impact/quality, short-term development requirements to the emea region
Package and deliver training content through both digital and face-to-face channels
Partner effectively with internal smes to build educational solutions for emea driven initiatives
Measure and monitor the commercial & cultural impact of learning and development, including quantitative (product and service penetration, average revenue per client, nps and lifetime value of client) and qualitative (learning experience, learning maturity, awareness/understanding/commitment/activation)
Spearhead discussions & decisions to increase quality & impact based on client data
Drive continuous improvement of design & delivery based on client experience and training evaluation
Support the identification, analysis and organization of training requirements in emea in order to inform medium and longer-term learning and development strategy
Actively connect the dots where applicable between coe and emea
Required skills, experience and qualifications:
Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
Lesson and curriculum planning skills
Adult learning facilitation skills
Basic knowledge of online learning tools such as adobe captivate, articulate, storyline
Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one learning management system – adobe captivate prime preferred
Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
Design, develop and support organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
Relevant teaching or learning & development qualification
Forward thinking with an interest in leading edge, proven effective tools and techniques
Sourcing and utilizing the latest technology in the learning & development space to support design/delivery
Client-centred learning & development experience and mindset
Instructional design experience for online, self-directed, remote and live delivery
Experience using the training cycle, including analysis/identification, design, delivery and evaluation of training needs, courses, and programmes
Experience using modern, interactive training platforms to deliver learning experiences, including an lms, articulate (or other e-learning platforms), zoom etc
Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders as well as be an active member of both the pod and emea talent team
Agile (client-centric, commercial, growth mindset) in design, delivery and teamwork, with the ability to work autonomously
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Excellent project management and organisation skills
Expertise in dealing with and influencing stakeholders
