About the job:
Responsibility:
– Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
– Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
– Setting up accounts for new users
– In-depth knowledge of hardware and networking systems.
– Knowledge of operating systems, O365, AD and basics of IDN.
– Knowledge of remote access systems such as TeamViewer.
– Acting as single point of contact for internal/external applications running across Saxo Bank.
– Estimate and plan own tasks with accepted accuracy.
– Identify Risks and proactively seek to mitigate or minimize, and if not possible, expose, escalate, and communicate them in due time.
Mandate:
– Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
– Required experience 3- 5 years.
– Good interpersonal skills.
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
– Previous work experience as a technical support engineer or desktop support engineer.
– Use your experience, knowledge, or intuition to challenge the status quo with the aim to deliver faster, drive higher quality and/or improve working environment.
– Understand and adhere to Risk culture in technology. Actively ensure that your decisions/actions include risk evaluation.
– Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
– Critical thinker.
– Experience delivering service in an enterprise ITIL environment.
