The role

Hardware development is a complex process, requiring management of multiple functions to ensure all the components and subsystems work together, the work is done on time and the final product meets cost and manufacturability requirements.

As a project manager, you will manage development and rollout of multiple products and platforms.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the project schedule, ensuring the project is on track, highlighting and driving resolution of technical and non-technical issues, managing trade-offs, monitoring the performance of field trials and managing the work of the internal cross-functional team and external vendors.

You should be comfortable with high levels of ambiguity, able to wear multiple hats, and like working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

Desired background:

1Bachelors in engineering from a reputed institution

23+ years project/program management experience

3Sound understanding of hardware product development process

4Understanding of tolerances, assembly, engineering drawings

5Prior experience in the consumer electronics or appliance industry is a plus

6Experience in taking a product from concept through development, launch and scale up

7Experience with vendor management and connections with indian and international suppliers
