The marketing operations manager is a key catalyst to our marketing focusWorking with the svp of operations, svp of marketing and other sales and marketing team members, this role is responsible for driving account-based marketing b2b saas best practices in marketing automation, reporting, analytics, marketing attribution, database strategy and audience segmentationThe successful candidate brings a strong knowledge of the modern martech stack, demand funnel marketing, and the design and execution of abm processesAttention to detail coupled with a passion for automation, process, data and analytics is essential in this role to help establish and fine-tune the systems and processes tied to marketing measurement, analytics, and marketing infrastructure required to execute a scalable marketing plan for a rapidly growing business.
Essential responsibilities:
Oversee marketing automation system including the implementation and evolution of the technology, production of assets, integrations, tracking and reporting
Optimize marketing technology stack to help the marketing team drive efficiency in the execution of account-based marketing (abm) programs and campaigns
Discover and present actionable metrics to leadership to stimulate revenue growth (new business, upsell and cross-sell opportunities), maximize marketing return on investment (roi), and enhance overall customer experience
Provide marketing team with segmentation data and insights to develop prospecting strategy, journey mapping, and targeting tactics
Maintain processes to support database health and growth, including contact and account enrichment, data hygiene, data quality, data governance and compliance with data privacy regulations
Execute on marketing database strategy to support growth in various market segments within the events industry
Using rainfocus` ideal customer profile (icp), 3rd party intent signals, and 1st party engagement data, develop propensity scoring models to enable the sales and marketing team prioritize the target audience and trigger relevant campaigns at scale
Monitor and analyze inbound and outbound demand generation campaign roi through a range of metrics and dashboards to drive pipeline and revenue growth
Improve the lead-to-revenue process to achieve goals throughout the funnel; as well as track conversions at each stage of the buying journey across campaigns and channels
Execute on email marketing strategy – from database segmentation to nurtures to achieve defined goals and business objectives
Own the management of executive dashboards, monthly marketing kpi reporting, and marketing roi models
Required skills and experience:
7+ years of marketing operations experience in b2b saas
In-depth experience with building and scaling marketing automation (hubspot, pardot, marketo-certified preferred), crm (salesforce) and abm platform (demandbase)
Experience in the strategy, design and implementation of an account-based marketing process; definitions, stages and statuses, data mapping and syncing
Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze campaign performance data to optimize existing campaigns and channels, identify new opportunities and turn data into actionable insights
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with modern martech stack (content platform, intent data, account-based marketing, engagement platform, etc.)
Experience in defining and implementing various marketing attribution models
Fluent in attribution tools, bi and data visualization tools
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think creatively and use sound judgement when making business recommendations and decisions
Excellent planning, project management, time management and skills
Strong communication and people skills to interact with leadership, peers and cross-functional teams
Ability to work in a high-energy team environment; team player
Understands the importance of dealing with change and ambiguity and welcomes the challenge of adapting to evolving needs of the business
Experience with enterprise saas companies is preferred
Events industry experience a plus
