Rackspace Looking for Accountant at Gurgaon, Haryana Full Time

We are seeking for an individual with a desire to learn and excel. As an Accounting Associate, you will be a part of the Accounts department. You will assist accounting manager and senior management in recording, reporting and managing company’s finances. You will also be required to provide administrative support and suggest ways for improving the overall accounting process of the company to team. Attention to detail and excellent communication / interpersonal skills are essential.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Key Accountabilities

a) Perform month end closing activities and support Accounting Manager for various complex entries relating to above

b) Perform complex accounting analysis and general ledger activities

c) An expert in R2R process, good understanding of various workstreams and dependencies in the process

d) Able to lead or play a significant role in complex accounting discussions

e) Define problem statements in various accounting areas and ensure issues are resolved from start to finish

f) Lead projects to drive improvements/efficiencies of current processes

g) Prepare monthly reconciliation of accounting GLs

h) Support Accounting Manager in direct, indirect tax related filings and queries with external advisors

i) Provide support to the Accounting Manager and business as the need arises
